Smyrna is located centrally in Rutherford County. Located between La Vergne and Murfreesboro, it’s a popular spot for locals looking for affordable, family-friendly neighborhoods outside of bustling Nashville. The city features a quaint and historic downtown area with shops and restaurants, but is also home to many of the chains you’ve come to know, providing every convenience at your fingertips.

The small town feel, nearby Percy Priest Lake and the numerous parks and greenway trails, and the strong sense of community makes Smyrna one of the most desirable towns town which to reside in Rutherford County.

Bordered by Percy Priest Lake and Hurricane Creek to the north and ending just before Sam Ridley Parkway to the south, La Vergne is convenient to I-24 which has made it a popular location for many international companies that call Middle Tennessee Home. It’s popular for outdoor enthusiasts as well, being closely located to Veteran’s Memorial Park and Poole Knobs Recreation Area which offers easy access to the lake.

A tight-knit community that focuses on family and Friday night football, La Vergne offers a laid-back atmosphere that is ideal for raising a family.

Sumner County Neighborhoods

Sumner County, Tennessee, situated to the northeast of Nashville, is a place of scenic beauty and historical significance. Gallatin, the county seat, exudes a sense of Southern charm, with a historic downtown square and a strong sense of community. The county is blessed with picturesque landscapes, including Old Hickory Lake, and offers a wide range of recreational opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts. Located next to the Cumberland River and with access to Old Hickory Lake, finds many locals spending their time outdoors on the water, or watching silent movies at the Historic Palace Theatre and participating in local events like the Fire on the Water Music Festival. The home of Volunteer State Community College and so many outdoor recreational options, Gallatin is a great place to raise a family in a small-town setting.

Bordered by Old Hickory Lake and Vietnam Veterans Boulevard, Hendersonville sits just a mere 30 minutes to the northeast of downtown Nashville in Sumner County. The town hosts annual events such as a 4th of July fireworks show, a Christmas parade, plus regular concerts, movies in the park, and theatrical productions. Hendersonville has also been home to many of Nashville’s most famous residents, including Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty, and Taylor Swift.

With a top-ranked school system, plenty of parks and lakefront shoreline, plus unique shops and restaurants all less than 20 miles from downtown Nashville, Hendersonville is known as one of Middle Tennessee’s top communities for families. The town boasts a network of greenways for walking and biking, Old Hickory Lake for fishing, boating, and relaxing, and has 26 miles of shoreline and convenient marinas.

Goodlettsville sits on the county lines of Davidson and Sumner Counties. Settled halfway in both counties and just a short distance from Hendersonville, it’s a great place to live for a short commute to our neighboring bigger cities. 

Having access to the Nashville with a short drive, but far enough to live a secluded simple lifestyle, Goodlettsville is a great place for people looking to escape the big city. Locals love spending time enjoying the outdoor, or shopping Goodlettsville's numerous antique shops known for their great finds as well as its many local restaurants.

Wilson County Neighborhoods

Wilson County, located in the heart of Tennessee, is a vibrant and rapidly growing region that seamlessly combines the best of rural and suburban living. With Lebanon as its county seat, Wilson County boasts a blend of small-town charm and easy access to the amenities of nearby Nashville. The area is known for its beautiful countryside, including parts of Percy Priest Lake, offering ample opportunities for outdoor recreation. The county also celebrates its rich heritage through events like the Wilson County Fair and numerous historical sites. Wilson County's dynamic mix of tradition and progress makes it an appealing place for both residents and newcomers.

Located less than 20 miles east of Downtown Nashville in western Wilson County, Mount Juliet sits between two national east-west routes, Interstate 40 and U.S. Route 70, better known as Lebanon Road.  It is speculated that the town’s name, the only one like it in the United States, pays homage to a manor home of the same name in Kilkenny, Ireland.

With easy access to both Percy Priest and Old Hickory Lakes, plus a multitude of parks and recreational facilities and shopping and dining destinations, Mount Juliet has nearly endless opportunities to stay active. Providence Marketplace is one of the largest retail locations between Nashville and Knoxville and provides a great place to shop, grab some dinner, and catch a movie.

Located less than an hour to the east of downtown Nashville in Wilson County, Lebanon is a sprawling community surrounding a traditional town square. It was incorporated in 1801, making it one of the oldest communities in the state and similar in style to Columbia and Franklin. Many large companies call Lebanon home, including Cracker Barrel and Dell, as well as Cumberland University, a private, four-year college

Homes in Lebanon vary from sprawling estates perfect for horses or cattle to quaint single-family ranches or cabins in tight-knit neighborhoods. Its proximity to Old Hickory Lake also makes lakeside living an easy reality. The town hosts several annual events such as Symphony on the lawn, Sherry’s Run, movies in the park, and the county fair. The square is seeing beautiful revitalization and the plantation homes along Main Street make a great place for a stroll.

Situated just east of downtown Nashville between Percy Priest and Old Hickory Lakes, Hermitage offers an ideal location for people who love boating and watersports. It neighbors and shares a Chamber of Commerce with Donelson which accentuates the community-centric feeling of the neighborhood. The town received its name from President Andrew Jackson’s home, The Hermitage, which is open regularly for tours.

Hermitage offers a variety of lifestyle and recreational opportunities that make it a great place to raise a family. Its proximity to both of Nashville’s major lakes and access to several beautiful parks make the area ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. Many of the area’s restaurants and stores are widely known brands, and as the area grows, more and more unique eateries and boutiques are popping up.
